California Wholesale & B2B Fulfillment

California B2B Fulfillment, From Container to Distributor

Eight California warehouses near the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. We take the container off the water, break it into wholesale orders, build the pallets, and schedule the freight, without a cross-country move in the middle.

B2B fulfillment where your containers already land

A wholesale program that imports through California has a choice to make on arrival: break the container near the port, or pay to move it somewhere else first and break it there. Our eight California warehouses sit close to the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, so cases and pallets are received, picked, and tendered near the point of discharge. For freight that is already going to a West Coast distributor, that removes an entire leg. The same inventory still reaches most of the country in two days.

California B2B Fulfillment FAQs

Yes. We dray from the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, then receive into stock within 24 to 48 hours, tracked live in our WMS.

Sometimes, and it is worth asking. If the freight is already committed to a customer and does not need to be stored, cross docking or transloading moves it through without paying for storage or a second handling. If it needs to be held, picked into mixed orders, or released over time, it should be received into stock instead.

Mixed-SKU orders are picked from a 30 x 36 x 24 inch pick rack at $7.50 a month per position, which is the one place we combine SKUs in a single position. Shipping pallets stay single SKU.

Storage is billed on the height a pallet is actually built to, not a tier you pick in advance: $18.50 a month at 60 inches, $25.00 at 72 inches, $40.00 over 72 inches on a 40 x 48 footprint. Allow about 5.5 inches for the pallet deck, since height is measured floor to top of load. On imported inventory this is worth checking at the container stage rather than after: how a factory stacks a pallet decides which tier it lands in the moment it is received, and rebuilding it here costs labour that stacking it correctly overseas would not have.

Each pallet position is rated to 2,500 lbs, and imported goods hit that ceiling more often than domestic ones because containers are packed to fill weight. Liquids, glass, printed matter, and hardware usually reach 2,500 lbs before they reach a height break, and once a position is at weight, building taller buys you nothing. Work out what a full height pallet of your product weighs: under the rating, height is your constraint and the tier breaks are worth designing around; at or over it, build to weight instead.

Not necessarily. Keeping everything in California is the simpler operation and the cheaper receiving when your customers are West Coast weighted. Splitting costs you a duplicated buffer per SKU and buys back transit time and freight cost on the eastern half of the country.

LTL and FTL at discounted rates for pallets, parcel for smaller orders. We coordinate carrier appointments and provide the pallet and shipment details the carrier and your customer need.
