Storage is billed by the pallet position at published rates: $7.50 a month for a 30 x 36 x 24 inch pick rack position, $18.50 for a 40 x 48 pallet up to 60 inches, $25.00 up to 72 inches, and $40.00 over 72 inches. You are billed on the height a pallet is actually built to, and the pallet deck itself uses about 5.5 inches of that allowance.

Weight is usually your limit rather than height. Each pallet position is rated to 2,500 lbs, and bagged food and litter reach that long before a pallet runs out of height, so the right build for those is shorter and heavier rather than tall. Lighter goods like beds and toys are the reverse and hit the height tiers first.
